In 2021, I was awarded a fully funded scholarship to pursue a Master’s degree in Mechanical Manufacturing and Automation at Nanjing University of Science and Technology, China. Due to COVID-19 travel restrictions, I commenced the program online while simultaneously enrolling at Covenant University, Nigeria, for a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Energy and Thermofluids..
By January 2023, I travelled to China to complete my studies, earning my international Master’s degree in Mechanical Manufacturing and Automation in September 2024. I have since returned to Nigeria to finalise my Master’s in Energy and Thermofluids at Covenant University.
During this time, I developed strong analytical and programming skills with significant exposure to emerging technologies especially in Automation, coupled with a six months internship at Siemens in China.
From 2014 to 2019, I pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Despite starting with a modest ranking of 60th in a class of over 110 students, I was determined to graduate at the top of my class with a First-Class degree. Through hard work and diligence, I achieved this goal, earning several awards, including Most Inspiring Student.
During this period, I completed an internship at Lafbart Innovations & Consulting Ltd, a leading automotive engineering firm specializing in vehicle diagnostics, repair, and tricycle assembly. This experience enhanced my practical skills and deepened my understanding of automotive systems.
Beyond academics and my internship, I served as a class representative in multiple courses, led voluntary activities, and engaged with future African leaders at Model United Nations events on themes like poverty eradication, marginalization, and energy efficiency.
In 2013, I graduated from Federal Science and Technical College, Usi-Ekiti, specialising in Basic Electronics as part of my technical education. I excelled in the West African Senior School Certificate Examination and developed a deep curiosity about how everyday machines, gadgets, and equipment worked.
Noticing that most products were made in China, I resolved to study Mechanical Engineering in college and, one day, travel to China to learn from the world’s best manufacturers. Though a youthful ambition, this vision became the driving force for the next decade of my life.
Analytical Proficiency
My skill set extends beyond engineering, encompassing Data Analytics and Business Intelligence. I hold a Diploma in Data Analytics from the Begorra Institute, where I developed a strong capability to transform raw data into actionable insights. This expertise enables me to support informed decision-making and drive business growth by leveraging data for strategic planning. In addition, I am proficient in Python scripting and development, specializing in crafting scalable solutions for automation, innovation, and optimization. My technical acumen allows me to streamline complex processes, ensuring efficiency and productivity in diverse applications.
Digital Marketing and Web Development
My pursuit of innovation led me to acquire a Nanodegree in Digital Marketing and Front-End Development from Udacity. These qualifications empower me to design and execute impactful digital campaigns that enhance business visibility and drive sales. I have successfully sold over 500 physical products online through targeted Google Ads and Facebook Ads campaigns, showcasing my ability to achieve measurable results in competitive markets. In addition to my marketing prowess, I possess advanced skills in modern website design and development. By creating user-centric, visually appealing, and functional websites, I help businesses establish a strong global presence and effectively engage their audiences.
